The usual barriers — and why they disappear here

Importing in your own name normally means a Trade License, BIN/VAT registration, an IRC, and opening a bank Letter of Credit, then handling customs duty, VAT and clearance yourself. For a first-time or small importer, that’s weeks of setup before a single box moves. With our door-to-door service, we absorb all of that. You simply choose the product; we do the rest.

How door-to-door import works

  1. You send us the product. Share a 1688/Alibaba link, a photo, or a sample — machinery, packaging, raw materials, or finished goods.
  2. We quote an all-in price. One BDT figure covering product cost, China handling, freight, duty, VAT and delivery. No surprises at the port.
  3. You confirm and pay in BDT. Locally, in Taka. We pay the Chinese supplier in RMB/USD for you.
  4. We buy, inspect and ship. By sea for bulk or air for speed, consolidated if you’re buying from several suppliers.
  5. We clear customs under our documents. No IRC or LC needed from you.
  6. We deliver to your door anywhere in Bangladesh.

What’s included

  • Supplier sourcing and price negotiation in China
  • Quality check before shipment
  • Payment to the Chinese supplier (you pay us in BDT)
  • Sea or air freight from China to Bangladesh
  • Full customs clearance — duty, VAT and documentation handled
  • Consolidation of multiple suppliers into one shipment
  • Door delivery nationwide

Who it’s for

This service fits SMEs and entrepreneurs importing small-to-medium quantities, first-time importers without an IRC, resellers and e-commerce sellers restocking from China, and anyone who wants imports handled end-to-end instead of dealing with banks, C&F agents and the port. If you import large volumes regularly, importing in your own name may be cheaper long-term — see the trade-offs in door-to-door vs self-managed import.

Sea or air — your choice

Sea door-to-door is the economical option for bulky and heavy cargo like machinery and equipment; China to Chattogram runs roughly 12–25 days plus clearance. Air door-to-door is faster — a few days to about a week — for urgent, light or high-value goods. We’ll recommend the right mode for your product and budget. How pricing works

Door-to-door is quoted as one all-in price — typically based on volume (per CBM) for sea or weight (per kg) for air, plus the assessed duty and VAT for your product’s HS code. Because it’s all-in, you know your true landed cost before you commit. Send us the product and quantity and we’ll come back with a firm quote.

What happens if a shipment is held at customs?

It’s rare with correct documentation, but if it happens, we handle it — that’s the point of clearing under our own documents. Read what happens if your shipment is held and our door-to-door documentation checklist.

Frequently asked questions

Do I really not need a trade license or IRC?

Correct. DE International imports under our own documents on your behalf, so you don’t need a Trade License, IRC or bank LC to receive goods from China. You pay in BDT and we deliver to your door.

How do I pay?

You pay us locally in Bangladeshi Taka. We settle with the Chinese supplier in RMB or USD, so you avoid opening an LC or dealing with foreign exchange.

Is duty and VAT included in the price?

Yes. A door-to-door quote is all-in — product cost, freight, customs duty, VAT and delivery in one BDT figure, based on your product’s HS code.

What can I import this way?

Machinery and equipment, packaging materials, raw materials, and finished consumer goods. Some restricted or specially regulated items may need your own import setup — tell us the product and we’ll confirm.

How long does it take?

Sea door-to-door is roughly 12–25 days from China plus clearance; air is a few days to about a week. We give an expected timeline with every quote.
